Torn
Truly taunting the timid throne,
Glee gauntly grabbing gone grandeur.
Being brave beneath bigger bronze,
Smiles speak such sorrowful secrets.
Asking another as ambition abates,
Lacking lets loose, leaving loneliness.
Down, decrepit, deftly droning doom,
Eyes elevated envious, even eager,
through tough teeming thought tides.
Unbroken under unusually ugly ultimatums,
Hanging helplessly has hallowed hands.
Realizing rescue remediates ruthless reign,
Wanting worse was what won.
